My Hiking Adventures
This page is dedicated to making memories of one of our newer vices. We (me, my son Blake, occasionally Brandi, seldom Karlie, never my wife, and not yet for Brock) have taken up some hiking. It started as a way to get in shape for a Mountain Goat hunt this fall but have decided  that it is quite fun and enjoyable. It gets you to places that you would otherwise never go. You get to see things that you otherwise would never see. For example today (July 8, 2006) we saw 18 mountain goats, ate wild strawberries, and climbed nearly 4000 feet. Turning into a great family activity and a way to get in shape. Blake is also working on his Hiking Merit Badge. This requires five 10 mile hikes and one 20 mile hike. As of today three on the 10 miles are out of the way.
